FACTS - YOUR DOG WILL LOVE IT. My dog refuses to drink/eat unless I place food and water in this elevated feeder. It makes a world of a difference. If you have a large dog purchase the bigger size otherwise it will be a waste. You can fill with about 11/2 qt of water and not 2 qt as described, which is no big deal to me. Very easy to remove lid and containers unlike some reviews I read. The container is big enough for a 30 lbs bag of food. I don't think you can put a 47 lbs in it as described (again 30 lbs is a very large bag). I was afraid of being bigger than I wanted due to looks but the size is just perfect. I have a 85 lbs German Shepherd and it is just fine. Regarding water splashing it does happen but I don't think you can prevent with any bowl. The advantage is it goes under the food bowl (just a little) and not on top of the food. I clean the water bowl often anyway since my dog likes fresh water. Just keep a cloth handy. I have attached some pictures for you to view. You will not regret this purchase. The lid can be removed very easily even if bowl of water is full in case you need to reach the food underneath. I would only suggest vendor to add a second hole on the other side of the bowl so you could remove easily but again no big deal. Easy to clean (much better than wood/metal since plastic does not get damaged/rust with water), easy to use, very study, perfect height. It has a clean look as well. This is one of the best purchases I ever made for my dog and I buy a lot for him...I have attached multiple pictures to help you with your decision. Enjoy since I know you will buy it...lol
