So far, So good. If it is durable, It is definitely a Winner.
Since I seem to be the first to review the product (I normally stay away from something until it has enough mediocre or negative reviews to get a sense of any relevant issues of which I need to be aware), I will give you more detail as to why I choose this charger.
1. I needed a charger that could handle the high power devices like my phone, wireless speaker, LiIon battery charger, battery backs, etc.
2. I wanted to know what current each device is pulling during the charge cycle, and I learned a great deal from this on my first trial last night.
3. Features vs. Price. I know you get what you pay for, however the prices for USB charges very wildly, and many come with features that I do not need/want. If it is durable, this guy lines up well for me.
Last night I, I loaded it down with all the gear I had to charge (excluding my wireless speaker that is out for repair) and at peak charging it consumed around 50W, and worked perfectly. What I discovered was about some of my devices was unexpected. I expected my phone to charge a various currents preserver the battery life, and I suspected that the large battery Pack to do the same. However, almost all of the devices I charged reacted this way. Only a couple maintained the same charging Amperage, notably the LiIon battery charger.
One last comment...I charged my Bluetooth ear buds, as well and there was never an indication that they were charging on the charger itself. However, they charged with no issues. I suppose they do not draw enough current for the charger to show the status. No big deal, just good to know.
I hope this helps, and I will up date as to how it reacts to a larger charging load, and to its durability.
