From the wife: Got these for a trip. Although they are definitely granny panties that fit at or above the navel (not my style), I figured I'd try them anyway and they were surprisingly good. They are 100% poly with a cotton liner but not a sweat oven. I wore them for a 10-day trip in Thailand (80-90 degrees F) - they were breathable and comfortable. The pocket in the front is big enough to fit a passport, but you won't want to use it for that because the edges of any hard object will poke into your thighs when seated. However, the pocket was great for stowing extra trip money/emergency cash. The zipper closure is necessary to ensure absolutely that nothing falls out, so don't get fooled into purchasing pocket undies with no closure (as someone who once spent four days in Europe with no money because it was lost, please take my advice on this). If you use *any* kind of secret pocket underpants or tank top for money, I'll give you this tip: fold bills tight, in small, flat clusters (not one big wad) and then wrap them in Glad Press & Seal (or tuck into small jewelry-sized ziplock bags, but if they're not smaller than snack bags you'll feel the ziplock part). This will keep them flat so that they don't show under clothing (which is the point), and keep you from sweating on them (gross). Note: I also purchased the Clever Travel Companion boyshorts (the only other option for secret pocket underwear where the pocket had a zipper closure), which were 100% cotton, but they bunched up and the cotton is 4-season cotton, so it was too heavyweight for a trip to the tropics. They're not sexy, no, but they were comfortable and functional -- my go-to secret pocket undies for travel.
