this stuff is wonderful. let me start by saying I have the flattest hair ever and this did the trick I'm guessing as good as or better than anything professional I've tried for volume. let me tell you a little more: -it can seem kind of crispy when you're drying your hair at first. it will not make it greasy or oily, but it kind of feels like there's hairspray in your roots or something a little crunchy. it also made my hair a little more coarse at the front where I applied more. -this is a good thing!! the hair needs to have a more coarse texture to have more volume, as soft silky hair is generally not as volumous. -once you style (I used heat for curls/waves) the coarse or crispy-ness will not be visible or look strange. -you kind of have to do some fluffing/tousling to get the volume to what you like. it helped me to blow dry completely upside down and I got the look I really wanted which is more volume at the roots -use liberally!! it may feel weird but use more rather than less!! good luck ladies and hope it works for you!
