This book is a lifesaver!
I’m not in the fitness world. I’m not a scientist. I’m not a doctor. What I am is a daughter who lost her dad to Alzheimer’s when he was only 60 years old. He’ll never walk me down the aisle, sing me Happy Birthday in the voice of the cowardly lion or pat my head and call me his “genius” again. Why I love this book so much is because Max doesn’t want another single human on the planet to forget who they are, what they like and who they love. He writes from the perspective of a son who’s mom is sick. I don’t want to spend hours pouring over research I don’t understand trying to decide what is real and what are lies. I don’t want to dig in and find out who is funding what. I have other things I promised my dad I would do. Thankfully Max is doing it all for me. All for us. This book provides a path for me to feel clear headed, energized and live a long life remembering things like where my dad took me for a surprise in second grade. This book makes me feel like my father’s genius. I’m excited to gift it to everyone I know.
