Bests & Worsts Reviews from Amazon

We live in a home that is oil furnace - forced air heat which makes the air very dry and I have used a ton of different humidifiers. Secondary reason we use them is for my daughter who has had asthma issues or when she is under the weather at the recommendation of our pediatrician. (Cool mist only was recommended by them.) Good for congestion! Pros -This new one is being used in my 8 year old daughter’s room and the 7 led function makes for a perfect night light. (Note - You can keep the light off, change it to one of 7 different colors or can have on a rotate mode.) The light is not very bright (blue seems brightest). -Light and power button for humidifier are separate. -It has an aroma diffuser and my others never did. Great for your favorite scent or even possibly a vicks type of aroma if needed. -Large 2.8 l tank that can go up to 10hrs at max setting. Add another few hours if using on lower setting. -Comes with stone filter. (My other ones did not come with a filter and I had to buy them.) -It is quiet compared to some of the others I have used. Cons -The aroma tray in my opinion is not very easy to slide out. (A little handle or knob to grab would be awesome.) -Some have stated they had early failures. I will update my review accordingly should this occur. Tips -Works best 2 foot above the ground. (A dedicated stand next to bed is ideal.) -Clean weekly using vinegar and as the manual states. I have neglected to do this on past units I have owned and you get a bad “calcium?” type of build up on the components which can lead to early failure. If you keep it clean, this should last you a long long long time. -Instead of diffuser refill pads, consider cotton balls as they work nice and are much cheaper. I don’t know about you, but I depend very heavily on reviews that are posted on Amazon. I also read what reviewers on Amazon have to say.
