Sturdier than expected with regards to holding up blankets/sheets, however the plastic poles can buckle when a kid tries to force a pole in from too far away from the hole. Why would they force this? Well, they’re kids - obviously- but also this is because some of the holes in the end balls are pretty tight. We hope these will loosen a bit later so our 8 year old daughter can put it together a bit more easily (currently she needs help fitting them tightly.. Overall would buy again and will likely get a second set closer to Christmas.
