Update 12/30/20: Returned defective product and ordered another one because my 3 sisters all have this and said theirs work. Replacement device workd. Pros: • fairly easy setup--download MZ Scope app, connect to ostoscope wifi, press start on app • can clean one's own ear using the camera on app • even without using the app, the light on the ostoscope makes it easier to clean my son's ears. Before I had to use a separate light source like a flashlight or the light on my phone-making it awkward. • USB rechargeable • comes with a number of eat wax scooper tips, so different people can have a designated one. • image on camera is clear-- even grossly satisfying what you can see Cons: • must have WiFi connection for app to work, but again can still use manually on others-- just not on self • maneuvering using camera takes a bit of practice • difficult to guage how far ostoscope is in ear when using on self, so use with care Original review: Charged otoscope fully. Downloaded the app, connected to the otoscope's wifi, pressed start in the app, and no camera image showed up. Uninstalled, reinstalled, repeated steps, and still didn't work. Very disappointed.
