I needed an inexpensive hose nozzle and wasn't expecting anything special. However, this unit is really sturdy (I think it's metal, but could be hard plastic), doesn't leak, and has a wide variety of spray patterns. I'm really impressed and the price was right too. There isn't a handle on this model; the on/off is controlled by a U shaped clip at the top of the unit. Works fine for me but I was surprised to not have a handle. (Though clearly there isn't one pictured.)
