I was super hesitant on buying this skirt because the reviews were all over the place. Overall, I'm very pleased with my purchase. I took the suggestion of other reviewers and went a size up. (5'2 and 138lbs) The fabric is mid-weight and reminiscent of Gap's scuba fabric, but not nearly as heavy, bulky or stiff. The skirt moves very well, and would be flattering on all figures. I bought the dark hunter green for a costume and it's exactly as pictured! This IS a mini skirt, and form fitting in the band, but forgiving in the thighs. The quality is great, and not reflective of an $8 price tag, so I was VERY impressed. No strings hanging, seams opening or crooked lines. The band hasn't twisted at all for me either. I thought this would just be a costume piece but I'll definitely continue to wear it, because it is a BEAUTIFUL skirt! It's short, but would look great with tights and boots. You can't beat $8!
