I love my Carey Smart Pressure Canner - so far the only thing I've used it for is pressure canning, so I cannot speak of the other functions it has. I have Multiple Sclerosis and as my disease has progressed I've been unable to use my huge All American. I really miss my All American, however this Carey is FABULOUS. I'm so thankful that I can use it in my home and do not have to babysit it. Some might complain that it only does 4 quarts at a time, however I say 4 is better than NONE, and that's how much I was getting done prior to getting this electric canner. It has been a great blessing to me and has given me a small part of my life back that MS tried to take away. I have been using it for about 10 months now and have no complaints. I've canned all my usual things: beef, venison, chicken, bone broth, soup, stew, beans, and so on. No issues. I have a review on my youtube channel if you are interested - Heritage Homestead. Thanks!
