Good recorder, received in a timely manner.I bought this recorder for my meetings and training briefs. sound quality is great. I have used couple recorders from different brand, and this is the best one so far. It is awesome to use for recording lectures, meetings and interviews. You won’t be let down. You can see how it performs in my video. here are couple points I like about this recorder. 1) Slim, lightweight and portable size, we can easily put it into our pocket or purse. A very good design for convenient carry. 2) easy to use. A power button on left side. Just press REC to start recording and press STOP to save. A little seconds lag at initial using, not a big issue. 3) Playback, the voice play on device itself is a little harsh, but after lowering downs its volume, it was acceptable. The recording file playback on my mac computer is fabulous, nearly same as the original file sound quality 4) It is capable to record at MP3 format and WAV format. That’s a good option 5) A big advantage, it has 16GB of internal memory that can hold up to 560 hr high quality MP3 recording file. also here are something you may have problem with. 1) Mic is very sensitive. during recording, the class ambient sound can be captured. Hope they will add some strong noise cancelling function in future models 2) Screen is small, but seeable for me. It might need a bigger screen for some elderly. 3) Need a learning curve. It might take sometime to read the user manual, but it is very helpful. Take time to read through it, you can learn to use the it better. Small but not short on features Overall, evistr did a great a job, such a small device with so many capable functions at this price. An affordable choice for your first recording device.
