I ordered two units for two different cars (BMW and a Honda) after my BMW had some wires chewed (twice) by a rodent. Installation was pretty easy, it took me about 10 minutes to install each one, and so far it works (almost) as described: The one in the BMW doesn't go into sleep mode when the car is running, while the one in the Honda does. You can actually hear the one in the BMW, while the one in the Honda can't be heard. The bottom line is that both cars have it installed for over two weeks now and there are no signs for a rodent in the area, I'll update my review if that changes. *** EDIT *** - 5 months after and it still works (no rodents) *** EDIT *** - 1.5 years after and it still works (no rodents)
