This cushion is thicker and has more support than the previous one that I just bought on Amazon. It has very good density and support. I use it in an EZ-GO golf cart which has poor suspension characteristics so without the cushion my back would become sore. Some small individuals (125 + or - lbs) may consider this cushion hard especially if they are using it in a seat where there is no load input into the body through the seat. The other thing I like about this cushion is that it doesn't slide around very much on the golf cart seat cover that I recently purchased on Amazon because of the texture of both the seat cover and cushion. So I don't have to use other things such as velcro to keep the cushion in place when I get in and out of the cart.
