Actually has 5 layers. I cut one up and counted. Tried to light it on fire, only melted. This is important, you don't want a fake mask that goes up in flames on your face. Holds liquid for a few minutes so there's some moisture barrier. Markings appear legit. Good seal for a medium sized woman's face if that helps. Reasonably hard to breath which is probably good.
