Stylish, well made and versatile. I found only one fault that confused me a little that had to do with a reference in the cookbook for steaming white rice in 3 minutes, while in the owners manual it refers to cooking white rice via the P07 preset in 14-18 minutes. Both cook white rice while in pressure cooking mode. I cooked white rice via the preset and the rice came out perfect. There is a small warm up time. Then while under pressure, a countdown cooking time and add to that a cool down time to allow for the release of steam/pressure. The 14 minute preset cook time doesn't account for warm up or cool down release of pressure which is good to know for first time users such as myself. The "Menu M" portion on the control panel is a list for preset modes only and NOT a functioning control panel. To use the presets you press the "Menu" button and toggle "+" or "-" to P01 through P015. All the other functions which include a variety of temperature settings, a delay start, manual mode and warm mode etc all were easy to understand and use. The extra lid and seal are welcome accessories as are the spoons and yes, even the plastic measuring cup. Solid construction, includes a wonderful safety latch that automatically locks the lid when the float valve rises under pressure. This latch is not mentioned in detail but I included a description of how it functions in my video. The steam seal or release valve wiggles a bit and can be removed for cleaning very easily by simply pulling it up and off. Venting steam can be done by a natural method via the float valve or by positioning the steam valve to release. I love the style, function and safety of this Cosori and think you will enjoy this Cosori pressure cooker as well.
