I’m a first-time-battery-Case user. This product did not disappoint! I read the negative reviews before reading the plenty 5-star reviews. I’m glad to report that this case does the job & I have no complications. I did research on what case to buy and which would be the best bang for buck. Really can’t complain for $40 for a 5000mAH Case. People say it’s bulky, yeah it’s heavy but I wouldn’t call it ‘bulky’. The shape of the case feels comfortable in my hand despite my hands being super small. The feeling of the case is smooth and not slippery to me at all. I made the mistake of trying to charge the case with my Apple 12v charging base (comes with the iPad) & it wasn’t charging at all. I thought I had a faulty case but I don’t. Just make sure to use your original 5v charger that comes with your phone cable! Charging the case from 0% does take some time but it doesn’t bother me (a few hours) I absolutely love the fact that you can use the cable that you use with your phone. Most battery cases require a micro usb charger but this one doesn’t! Big plus! You can also charge the case while it’s on your phone, and your phone will charge. Such a great price and amount of recharge. Compared to the Mophie case that is only 2400mAH for $100. Another plus is the extended warranty they offer. I signed up for that right away. It’s good for one year starting at purchase date. I highly recommend this case to anyone with an XS Max even considering a battery case.
