In all my years, I never thought I'd get so excited about weather stripping and a door sweep but here we are. I just built a duplex and the apartments are only separated by two doors. The floors throughout the house are wooden and sound travels annoyingly well so whenever I'd be playing music, watching a movie, or having sex, my neighbor could hear everything in detail but no longer. I bought and installed two kits (one for each door) and the difference is legitimately amazing. Now I can blow that back out without being self conscious about my neighbor hearing me beat cheeks. Each kit comes with a ton of extra weather stripping and there was enough to weather strip 5 doors between the 2 kits. It is very effective in sound proofing rooms even without the door sweep so now my neighbors can also bump uglies in confidence.
