Just Left Jawbone Era for This Gem
I have been a jawbone fan for many years. When i first opened the package it reminded me of a hearing aid. I decided to give it a try and from the first 5 minutes I was hooked. The sound quality is excellent and I am able to have two phones connected at the same time. I am not sure you understand what that means.. That means I can get an alert from my iphone while I am on a call with my blackberry at the same time. Sure my jawbone was able to pair with two phones at the same time, but it used to fight over which phone was the primary. I wear glasses and really had my doubts about the over the ear design, but it was not an issue at all. The headset is so light i forgot I was wearing it. The ear bud basically just fits in your ear and is very comfortable. I could only go 2 hours with my jawbone before my ear would start to hurt... This guy i can keep in all day. The other nice thing I liked about this headset was that you could move the boom mic up and down. This made it very easy for people to tell if I was on a phone call or not, especially those long conference calls when most of the time I am on mute. Besides the design and tech aspects of the headset, what really won me over was the mute button during a call. It is so easy to click the button to mute instead of fishing for my phone in the car or in my pocket. Having dedicated volume rocker as well is pretty awesome. Connecting to phones is much much faster then my jawbones. Anything Bad? Yes! Be aware that the power plug is a magnet that snaps onto the headset. The magnet isn't the strongest and if you have this plugged in your car and you drive, it will pop off and go on the floor. I can understand why they went this route because I am sure there are no more broken micro or mini usb ports to fix or rma due to this connector, but it is not convenient. So to recap... -Very Light -Comfort design for those with glasses -Great battery life and features -Can be connected to two phones at the same time and you hear alerts from both phones -Has a dedicated volume rocker -Has a mute button during calls -Has bad recharge/computer usb connector system Has replaced (2) jawbone era headsets. Made them feel like antiquated $20 headsets. Don't let the charging cable stop you from buying this headset, for what it does (calls, music, etc) it is amazing.
