When I was a little girl my mother told me that the secret to having really good sheets is to always look for percale. So far that advice hasn't let me down. I just received these sheets and haven't used them yet, but straight out of the package I'm pretty impressed. They feel very nice. The pillow cases seem to be very generous and I love the all-around elastic on the fitted sheet. The pockets are nice and deep and the flat sheet (or top-sheet as my mom called them) appears to also be more generous than in other sets I've purchased. I'll know more when I get them on the bed. Unfortunately, since they are 100% cotton, I won't be able to wash them in hot water. The care instructions say to wash in cool water. And they will probably wrinkle like heck if I don't get them out of the dryer right away, but that's okay. I'm not a sheet snob---I'm wrinkled so my sheets can be too. :-) . . .I'll try to remember to update my review once the sheets have been washed and used.
