I wish that the blades were replaceable.
This is my 3rd OXO peeler. It's a great ergonomic design but the blades begin to dull after about 2 years. I can extend the life a few more months by honing them with a knife steel but they need to be replaced soon. I wish that OXO would sell the blades instead of having to throw away the handle to get a new edge. I understand the concept of planned obsolescence, but we shouldn't be filling landfills with plastic just so they can make a few bucks on a new peeler.
