Just posting initial impressions. Seems pretty durable and a good value for the price. Velcro straps are large and should last awhile. If you are used to training with the old school military flak jackets, then this will be right up your alley. If you are used to the new ones or are expecting something akin to a backpacking setup, you will be disappointed. The waist strap is external not internal, so your hips are not bearing any of the load. It is all on your shoulders. You may want to reduce the weight accordingly. Bottom line is your shoulders are going to get tired before your legs, so whether this is a good fit for you really depends on what your focus is.
