It's works, but not as well as they want you to believe
Dont get me wrong; it is one of my favorite wine bottle openers, but it takes a lot of pumping to get it to work along with a good amount of force pulling to get the cork out. Getting the cork off the needle is a snap. You just slide the plank down and it comes right off. The opener feels cheap, but I think it will hold up over time as there really isn't much to it. When the cork does finally come out you get the Champagne surprise POP! But it doesnt shoot out and isnt dangerous.
