Charge HR plum
I ordered the Charge HR Plum in January. Although I had to wait 2.5 months to get it I would say it was worth the wait. I was worried because I had read some negative reviews about it from the time I ordered it to the time I received it. I have had it for 2 weeks now and I love it. I read in many places that the heart rate monitor was not accurate but I have had no problems with it at all. I have run on a treadmill and checked it against the HR monitor on the treadmill and it was spot on. I have also manually checked against my pulse and have yet to have an inaccurate reading. I also do T25 at home and it has no problems keeping up with the fluctuations in HR for that either. I have found the sleep tracking to be fairly accurate as well. However, I fall asleep pretty quickly at night and also do not watch tv or read in bed. I have read several reviews that say it will track as sleeping when the person is just laying in bed watching tv which is probably because they aren't moving. You can manually go in and adjust your sleep times in the ap though. On the weekends I have had to adjust the wake time because I will wake up and stay in bed and read in the mornings. I love the track exercise feature. I don't have to go to my phone and track the exercise through the ap, I can just press and hold the side button to start and stop. I can then go in the ap and see my HR during and calorie burn. I also use the alarm every day. It's awesome because now my alarm won't wake up my kids in the morning which is nice. I have had an issue with the phone call alerts. Sometimes I won't get one and other times if I get one its too late. I'm not sure if it has to do with the proximity to the phone but I have been right next to it and it didn't pick up the phone call at all. I had to go into the ap and resync it. It is still a little delayed though. I had also read many reviews that the reviewer get a rash, I am sad to report that I have developed this. However, I already know that it's because water got trapped underneath and I never dried it. I have gotten the same exact rash under one of my rings. I just switched wrists for now. It has also been itchy. I found if I just take it off and wash it with antibacterial soap it goes away. I think that just stems from working out with it on and getting sweaty then I forget to clean it. All preventable. I also do not recommend wearing it too tight, it gets uncomfortable really fast. I am a smaller woman and I bought a large after reading several reviews that say the small is really small. I have to wear it on the third spot closest to the face but I haven't had any problems since the remainder of the band is held down by the other strap that fits into the grooves (not sure if that makes sense) either way, it's out of the way and isn't a problem. The band is also comfortable, again, KEEP CLEAN. Battery life lasts about 2.5-3 days with me. However the battery charges relatively quickly. I normally charge it while I shower and get ready in the morning. All in all, I would recommend keeping it dry and clean. I would definitely recommend this product. I absolutely love mine. I have only had it 2 weeks and already feel naked with out it. It has become a permanent part of my wardrobe.
