I have skin sensitivity issues and this blanket is good with handling that. It doesn't irritate my skin at all. It provides a great deal of comfort in times of stress. My puppy enjoys it. All around, it is a good blanket and provides excellent coverage. I'm 5'11 for reference. I highly recommend cuddling up with this blanket and a cup of whatever you fancy.
