I have a 5.4lbs chihuahua. After reading reviews I was still struggling with getting the small or medium. I ended up purchasing the medium. It's perfect. She can sit up and look around or lay down and take a nap. I love that the side are mesh so she can still see out while laying down. I added her favorite blanket to the bottom and she jumps in it herself. Great for our upcoming camping trip for when she gets tired on hikes. Posted some pictures so you can see bag and dog size.
