For the price spent on this mattress pad, I was not expecting this high quality. The pad is thick and plush, and the elastic trimmed fabric that fits over the mattress is substantial and will not tear. This piece is also long enough to fit, with plenty of room to spare, over my mattress which is topped with a memory foam pad. There's no chance of waking up to the pad having slipped off the mattress in the middle of the night. Buy it; you'll be pleased.
