I’ve been using this bottle for months now so I have a handle on the pros and cons. Pros: I like the resilience of the bottle itself. It’s very strong and doesn’t dent when pressed on or dropped. The top is also very strong, I tend to pick the bottle up by the lid and it has never broken or even loosened. The sleeve option is nice because it stops the condensation and doesn’t leave rings on my table or desk. There are some nice patterns too, if you can get them before they sell out. Having the handles and straps is a plus as well. Cons: I don’t like the small opening, you can’t fit large ice cubes in the top and that’s what I had hoped for upon purchasing. There is no straw included or an alternative top/lid. You can buy a straw separately but they sell out really fast. I have been using my own reusable straws with an improvised stopper to keep it from falling into the jug, but that means the lid doesn’t close and I have spilled SO MANY TIMES I am over it. The sleeve does not actually keep water cold, just prevents condensation. The wetness also stains the sleeve material and requires an entire wash to get rid of the staining. But it dries over night so that’s good. I won’t buy another H2O Capusle, but I’d maybe buy another sleeve for the bottle I already have. I purchased the HydroBear jug off Amazon which includes a straw for a great price. The make is very similar if not exactly the same as HydroJug so I will get a sleeve from them to take care of the condensation problem and add the handiness of straps and handles and spot for my phone. EDIT: I lied. Haha. I have bought two more H2O capsules since buying the OG. I have seen the integrity of the bottle be much more impressive than other bottles and the company is really stepping it up with new sleeves and top cap options from the sip lid to the different straw lids. I will say the big downside is the bottle that comes with the straw attached like sippy-lid style is not very good because the amount of work it takes to get any water through the straw is crazy and sometimes the tops just don’t work at all.
