First off, this does not smell like any of the small Christmas Tree air fresheners I have ever been exposed to. However, the second I actually smelled it, I recognized the fragrance. I then sprayed some in my master bedroom and asked the wife to come in the room. When she did, she looked at me, and asked why I was wearing my gym clothes if I just got out of the shower (which I had not). I showed her the bottle and said it was my new car freshener, and she asked me "When did AXE start making air fresheners?" If you have ever used AXE body wash, then you will recognize the scent immediately. I would be shocked if the same company does not produce both products (before private labeling them - Yes, this is true). The scent is along the lines of their "Dark Temptation", or Excite", or the "White Label" body washes. Beyond a shadow of a doubt, it is a "manly" scent to say the least. My wife travels for business frequently and always takes a T-Shirt that I had slept in with her on her trips. She now also has a very tiny, make shift spray bottle with this to spray her hotel room when she checks in. Before you laugh at that, our 20 year anniversary is in 6 weeks, so we are doing something right. If you are personally having s sweaty day, you could spray this into the air and stroll into it and you would just smell like a recent shower with AXE. Bottom line if you like the smell of AXE, buy this, if you don't like it, stick with the New Car Smell. Cheers!
