So I bought these boots for my trip out west to Yellowstone, the Black Hills and the Badlands. They arrived only a few days before I left so they had no break in time. I was pretty worried that my procrastination may result in a ruined trip, however, They were amazing! I did wear them with hiking socks but I never got a blister and I was hiking up to 8 mile per day for 3 weeks. We hiked some pretty steep hills and mountains and the boots did great. Going downhill my toes never really touch the front of the boots I just make sure to tie the laces very tight around my ankle and going uphill they were super comfortable. We got stuck having to take down our campsite in a pretty major rainstorm and my feet stayed 100% completely dry! I was honestly amazed, so glad I bought them!!!
