I purchased the Greater Goods kitchen scale as my wife and I recently began living a healthier and cleaner lifestyle. I’ll say, for anyone looking at improving their life healthy eating is the first step, and to do so you NEED a good food scale. After reviewing dozens of scales I purchased this one as the company seems to have a great product, which looks good, at a great price, and they’re a responsible company. I have a very modern kitchen and do not like clutter. This scale looks great whether I keep it on the counter or in a drawer. It’s sleek and slim, and multiple different measurements, and is very easy to use. I typically use the oz. or gram setting the most. For those that haven’t used a food scale before...it’s EASY! For example, if I’m making chicken tacos, I’ll first put the plate and two tortillas on the scale. Then I’ll zero it out. Then when I add my chicken I’ll know exactly how much I’m having without dirtying multiple bowls/plates. Then I zero it out again, and start adding cheese, zero it out again and add additional toppings. It’s easy to use and helps in calorie counting. Especially if you enter your food intake into an app (I use MyFitnessPal), it is amazing! The first one I purchased stopped working shortly after receiving (kept showing no low battery and turning off, even after buying new batteries), but they company promptly shipped another. I rated a 4/5 for this reason, but will increase to 5/5 if this one holds up. It’s a good chance it was a one-off defect. Thank you for reading and rating my review!
