Try spraying it ON the feeder rather than mixing with seeds
I, like others, had variable success with this squirrel sauce when mixing it in with the seeds. Some squirrels stayed away from it, whereas others seemed to accept my spicy threat as a challenge and gorged themselves just as much as they had done in the past. Fed up with dumping literally entire bottles full of the sauce in with my relatively small batch of sunflower seeds, I decided to transfer the sauce into a spray bottle and just spray the exterior of the feeder itself, concentrating on the holes where the seeds come out (I have a Droll Yankee feeder). I watched in both suspense and glee as squirrel after squirrel was deterred by potency of the sauce, leaving plenty of seeds available that week for my birds. Amazingly, the sauce persisted even after a day's worth of heavy rains. After two days worth of rain, however, I needed to go back and respray the feeder. Granted it looked a bit "American Psycho" out there in the garden for a few hours, but honestly, it was a lot less work than remixing the batch of seed and has been 1000% more effective than other methods. I win!
