These are super easy to use and do a great job on my 8 yr old 80lb pit bull. He hates having anyone or anything touch his feet but he tolerates these very well as long as he's laying down. I didn't use the guard part as I've been clipping his nails myself for years so i didn't need it but it's nice to have. It is a bit easier to use and hold than the "guillotine" style clipper I've used for years. These cut through his nails cleanly with no splitting. The nail file thats included is a bit cheaply made and very small but it means i can stop using my own file on his nails for a little bit so I'll take it. I've had a grinder in the past but have always preferred clippers. They are much faster and easier to use if you have a fussy pet like mine. Definitely recommend these!!
