I tried, I really did. But every time we were together, I ended up with terrible headaches. We looked great together, you wanted to take care of me. I kept you indoors until we were ready to tell the world about “us.” We Netflixed and Chilled. I saw the world...literally through your lens. But you were immovable. What ultimately could have served to save my life someday, led to our demise. The pain you caused radiated from my left temporal skull. You left marks. I tried to hide them from friends and family. Our relationship never saw the light of day. I realize that moooost likely, the clearly odd-shaped skull atop my neck was to blame. But THAT was as unchangeable as you. I sent you away. I Tried again 2 Prime-shipping days later but NOTHING HAD CHANGED. SIZE DOES MATTER. What once fit everywhere, protected me and gave me comfort (minus the searing pain in my left forehead,) now left me feeling...exposed. And still, the pain. I sent you away again. With heavy heart and pounding brain, I swore a last goodbye... It’s not you, it’s me.
