Fantastic fit, don't ride up or bunch up, ever, at all. I wouldn't really call this a hipster panty. More like a cross between bikini and brief. The band rests a couple inches below my belly button. The fabric is substantial. I've washed them several times, and they are still as black as the day they arrived. The inside crotch fabric is inexplicably white. Weird, but not weird enough for me not to love them. I plan to buy more. August 14, 2020 I bought another pack of these last month and am about to buy them again, in white. All my other panties have been pushed to the back of the drawer.
