I'm a 62 year old woman I was able to put it together by myself! The instructions were clear; however, be careful to pay close attention to which drawer side piece you put where. If the rails extend too far out, you've got them backwards. Make sure not to tighten the screws until you are 100% sure that everything is where it should be. The biggest challenge was getting the drawers in place on the rails once everything is put together, especially the top drawer (probably easier to do with two people, though). It's a beautiful piece of furniture and everyone I know is surprised that it is a file cabinet and not a bedside table or small dresser. It was packed well and arrived unscathed. The color is true to the photos online. All contents are clearly marked. Word to the wise. DO NOT open both drawers all the way at the same time; otherwise the entire cabinet will topple forward.
