...I was worried, even after reading reviews. But- here's the deal: This thing is GLORIOUS. Sure, the kids love it. but we're making BOOZE SLUSHIES and SNOCONES. (I'm serious. This thing makes a majestic gin + tonic slush.) Recipe below: Our favorite snocone yet: The Gin + Tonic + Lime + OMG Step One: Make snocone like it's for the kids. Smile with glee as you say, "THIS ONE IS FOR MOMMY." Watch the tears of confusion turn to instant bitterness. (Put another $10 away for therapy.) Step Two: After ice is packed well in snocone, in a glass stir: 1 shot gin, a dash of tonic, 1/2 lime squeeze and the triumph of knowing as an adult, you get to eat a booze snocone. Step Three: After stirring well, pour mixture over snocone. Repeat until it's no longer hot outside, but seemingly a comfortable 70 degrees. You're welcome.
