Lots of room for at least two adults, one of which was using an air hammock instead of a beach chair + our things. We did not use the stakes nor would they be helpful on the beach but I'm sure they would be okay for the ground. I would recommend bringing some tent weights or ziploc/grocery bags to fill with sand. I was able to fold it up BY MYSELF IN WIND and I am only 4ft 10in tall so if you need two people then you aren't following the directions. That being said, a second person certainly doesn't hurt either, but know you don't NEED a second person. I did have to watch the Youtube video a couple of times when I first got it but now I can fold it back up without reference after just one trip. I did hang up towels using binder clips on the backside and folded the floor flap up with binder clips to use as a makeshift changing room. A friend stood guard and held a towel over the tiny gap on the front as it's not an exact fit. I would say to the manufacturers that maybe changing the design just a little bit would make that a marketable function. Also, there is no silver UV lining on the inside as it says in the description. It is only the blue material that you see in the pictures. The zip flaps are nice and allow air flow. I ended up using the same binder clips to keep them up. We did not get burnt after spending an entire day at the beach and I did use this as my sun shade the entire time with minimal trips into the water. I am glad I bought this!
