It is a lot better than I expected. It is actually 3" thick like it says. The foam part is a lot more dense than I expected. I thought it would be the same as the phony egg crate pads, but it is almost the same density as the memory foam. I just got but but so far I love it. Also, it didn't take any time for it to poof out. It puffed up to the full 3 inches right out of the box!
