Doesn't work on my wife :(
It worked so well on my little cute Morkie, Venus, that was barking all the time at other dogs, but didn't work so well on my wife. She instead tried to spray it in my face. Regardless, this is a charm for my little Venus. I even had paid for a dog trainer before to come and teach me some leash tricks to get Venus to be "quiet" on command when barking, but I felt bad yanking on that leash on her little neck. So I didn't continue that practice and instead gave up for a while. Then I was walking the hallways of my apartment when a gentlemen with his little schnauzer came walking by and Venus starting barking at it. The man pulled out this bottle and sprayed it in the air (away from the direction of the dogs) and they both were quiet. Actually, his dog was already quiet from when he took the can out of his pocket, so he looked knowledgeable about the spray bottle and respected it. I think the nice red color helps the dogs recognize it better. Venus was quiet in a second and came to my side. I pet her and said "quiet" and then "good girl" instead of giving her a treat. I mean a lot of dogs are rewarded by just a smile, a nice rub and a good work like "good girl." You don't always have to give them treats or else they think they have to bark, then after the spray they get a treat. That happened to my mom's chuhuahua. He would bark and she would say "quiet" and then give a treat. So every time he wanted a treat he would go to the window and bark and look backwards until he got a treat. Just give them love an affection. You could technically do the same with humans, but that's another story :)
