Seems to be pretty sturdy and grips the truck and ground well enough not to move. So far the non-slip surface is working for my 75lbs American Staff. In my case I had to figure out the best placement on the truck (2017 GMC Canyon). The width of the ramp is the same as the floor board of the door but with the height of the ramp and my door not able to open up ALL the way I had to move the placement. Luckily I have step bars which works perfectly with this ramp. I can even open and close the door with the ramp still on the step. If I had to get another one I might consider the 3 piece ramp they offer for a more compact design while closed. Not sure if the video is going to upload due to the size of the file but this is the first day of use. Bruce is a little hesitant but as long as I show him where to go he was fine with it.
