I am a medium/light skin African American with hyperpigmentation issues and I take my anti aging skin care seriously. UVA rays cause the bulk of aging and the sunscreen ingredients that protect from UVA the most are notoriously greasy and leave a white cast. On Caucasian skin this isn't so bad but on black skin... forrrrgetttt about it. I have spent three times the price for sunscreen that made my makeup roll up of my face, made me ashy in photos or took ten minutes and pressing to be presentable. This is the first sunscreen that disappears right into my skin, has a super high UVA protection AND is a flawless makeup primer. It's actually moisturizing but doesn't leave my shiny like my old Bioderma Holy Grail. This sunscreen is absolutely fantastic and the US needs to get it's act together because our FDA blocks out many of the best UVA filters, and ingredients that work well on darker skin. Yet UVB is such a small concern outside summer for most people. I Just started using this last week and already bought two more backup bottles.
