So I always read al the negative reviews before buying a product to get a feel. I also must take them with a "grain of salt" This hammock does not come with a stand, I am not sure why you wold think it does? You can flip over on this hammock, this is true... It is a bed supported by ropes dangling above the ground:) So if you take out all the negative posts that float on common sense.....You will see this product has only very positive comments. I LOVE this hammock. It is big enough for my wife, my four year old, my 2 year old, my 4 month old, and myself (I weigh 190lbs. and am 6'0") We all took a nap on it, and it was amazing!!! I do my daily devotionals on it now. The Blue is absolutely beautiful!!!!!!! I highly recommend this hammock
