I purchased this for my dad for Father's Day in June 2015, but luckily he never needed to use it so I never posted a review. Fast forward to February 2016 when my brother-in-law's huge pick up trunk died in my dad's driveway. My dad got all excited to use his jumper. I got nervous thinking that it hasn't been charged since last June & the pick up was HUGE! My brother-in-law was VERY skeptical when he saw how small the jumper was. We read & followed the directions exactly, and my bro-in-law started his truck with no problem! My dad was all proud, (I was wiping my brow thankful that my gift wasn't a waste!) and my bro-in-law asked where in the world I purchased something like this! Of course I told him Amazon! He was impressed, my dad was showing off, and I got the credit for getting a great gift. It was a win win win! After that day, I told my dad he should charge it now, but of course he didn't & two weeks later his own Ford Explorer died right before he had to go to work! He used the thing AGAIN & his car started no problem & he was able to go get his battery changed out before it died again. In short, this thing was fully CHARGED almost a YEAR AGO & it started a huge pick up & a Ford Explorer within weeks of each other. Amazing!
