This is for the 60 mile version of the 1byOne Digital Attic/Outdoor HDTV Antenna. All I can say is WOW! I live in a 1 story home surrounded by 2 story houses 33 miles from the broadcast antennas. Looking on the map, there are several two-story homes directly between my house and the broadcast antennas; one is right across the street. Plus there are two or three large three-story metal buildings within a mile also in the direct path. In other words, line-of-sight? Forget about it. I had pretty much talked myself out of an attic install. I fully expecting to have to install an outdoor antenna raised high enough to reach over these obstructions. What a pain. However, at the last minute I decided to try this antenna instead. It looked simple, and I could always return it if it didn't work, right? So I went ahead and ordered it. It arrived yesterday. Assembly was a snap. Installation in the hot attic in the middle of August was no fun, but was mainly uneventful. I mounted the antenna as high as I could inside the peak of the roof, pointed it in the general direction of the signal sources, hooked up the power unit, connected the signal feed to my TV using pre-existing wiring, switched on the TV, and did a scan. Every single OTA station from the distant antenna farm showed up!!! I'm not missing a single one. Most are UHF. One or two are down in the VHF-H band. They all came in clear with no pixelation. My TV doesn't have a signal strength meter so I can't tell you about that. The only stations not coming in are a couple I wasn't interested in anyway, broadcast from a different location in a different direction. I consider this a no-loss. Am I impressed? YES!!! I have only just installed this antenna so I do not yet know how it will behave over time or how weather will affect it. I will post updates if anything noteworthy happens. ****UPDATE**** I now have split the signal four ways without any additional amplification. All my receivers see all the channels with no problems. I couldn't be happier.
