This is my first amazon review ever - and this is totally worth it! With Thanksgiving about to be here, I realized my separator is somewhere in ‘box limbo’ after a recent move.. So I decided to purchase this one. I ordered it on the Saturday night before Thanksgiving and received it that following Monday (I know 2 days, great service, right?) When I received it I immediately broke down and pieced out my bird and used the bones to make a stock. This separator saved me SO much time I honestly couldn’t believe it. I filled my separator with the stock, let it sit for a few moments to separate and then easily filled up all of my containers. I made a decent amount, 11 qts. So it did take quite a few times to fill the separator to fill my containers. For people making a small batch, would definitely take less. However! With the bottom liquid release, I didn’t have to worry about any of the fat or nasty bits creeping it’s way back in. Or having to worry about pouring it perfectly in the containers, hold the greasy lid/strainer etc. I was amazed to see how easy it was to clean, it breaks down into two parts so you know all parts are cleaned and sanitized. I’ve attached a picture of how many qt containers I filled in so little time. I actually spent more time writing this review than I did separating and filling my stock containers. This definitely saved my Thanksgiving. Oh - and the free 3 & 1 peeler that’s included. Also amazing!
