I was hesitant about this product at first but I'm now convinced it's worth the purchase price. I've always used a stack of pillows to prop up in bed for reading. They like to slide around and get unstacked & require rearranging a lot. This wedge pillow provides sturdy, firm, reliable support without the need to keep fighting all those pillows. Sturdy but comfortable, not too hard. It came air compressed and it was awesome watching it inflate. Took just a few seconds to achieve full size. It did have a strong smell but that faded rapidly. It comes with a washable removable cover that luckily was already in place. The fabric is soft to the touch with a zipper that's not too big & is concealed & out of the way. The only drawback is that it's so big and there's no way to fold it up and put it away when not in use unlike that stack of pillows which you just separate. I've yet to figure out a place to store it when it's not on my bed that isn't totally in the way. Haha but it's a small drawback. Completely worth the hassle.
