I originally had a different (cheaper) tablet/phone holder in my cart, but wasn't super thrilled about the cheap-looking aesthetics of it. I'm glad I kept looking and found this! PROS: - Comes with THREE sizes of expandable holders- S, M, L- which I presume fit phone, mini tablet, and regular iPad, respectively. (I used the M one for my iPad mini, shown in pics). - There are soft grips both at the base and also where it grabs your phone/tablet. - heavy duty - steel, modern aesthetic (goes with our contemporary condo) - doesn't flop around. The arm stays put! CON: You need about an inch of something to clamp it onto. Not a huge deal- I just stuck some index cards underneath the tablet inside where the clamp meets the table to make it firm. I don't really care about this as it exceeded my expectations, but thought it was worth mentioning. -------- Lastly, the box it comes in is nice. It doesn't have weird looking graphics and doesn't look "cheap" so I'd feel very comfortable giving it as perhaps a Christmas or birthday gift. I'm very glad I purchased this. If you want something a little more upscale and sturdy than the $10-15 tablet holders out there, get this one. You don't be disappointed.
