Mella gets 3.5 stars because it’s a mostly nicely designed product with excellent customer service. Pros: looks great, functions great, relatively easy to use and setup Cons: all control buttons on the bottom, which is a pain when wanting to turn features on or off several times a day. Customer service: my kids hated Mella. They’re a bit past 2, and for some reason the smiling face of the clock scared the crap out of them. These aren’t skiddish kids, just something about it they didn’t like. Emailed customer support to return it. They responded telling me to keep it, and try again when they’re older, or give it away, and regardless here’s a full refund. THAT is how you convince me to try products from you again, even if the first didn’t work out.
