A warning: the backing piece for this cabinet is the KEY to constructing it properly. When I spoke to Sauder Co. over the phone, the rep was so used to this question that she actually was able to give me instruction over the phone. You have to line the top of the backing across the top of the cabinet (in the back), where the pre-drilled holes are for the nails. Nail in the top right corner first, then the bottom right corner, and then work your way across the top again, and then finally, nail in the remainder. If the backing is not installed squarely across the rear of the cabinet, the doors will appear completely off, and will not work/shut properly!
